Strengthen the development of slaughter products, hygiene control, inspection procedures, harmless treatment and other slaughter standards, establish and improve the livestock and poultry slaughter standard system, which is conducive to promoting the quality and safety of meat through standardized means, and strive to ensure the people's Meat consumption safety. At the same time, standardization plays an increasingly important role in ensuring product quality and safety, promoting industrial transformation and upgrading, economic efficiency, and serving foreign trade. By improving the standardization system of livestock and poultry slaughtering, it will effectively promote the standardization level of the slaughtering industry and promote the transformation, upgrading and healthy development of the slaughtering industry. The European Union, the United States, Australia and other developed countries and regions have formed a relatively complete meat and slaughter standard system on the basis of adopting the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards. At present, my country has formulated some livestock and poultry slaughter and processing standards, and initially formed a livestock and poultry slaughter standard system, but the overlap, repetition and even contradictions between the standards are serious. On the whole, a complete set of livestock and poultry slaughter standard system has not yet been formed, which is far from satisfying The development of the livestock and poultry slaughter industry has become one of the main bottlenecks restricting the industrialization of livestock and poultry slaughter in my country. At the same time, it can not effectively support the supervision of livestock and poultry slaughter.
